40th Birthday Celebration
(1-4 July 2026)
Off we go to one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland — Zermatt, at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn!
Over four unforgettable days, we’ll celebrate life together — on mountain trails, in cozy alpine huts, and finally on the dance floor. Expect breathtaking scenery, beautiful hikes, and even a magical overnight stay in a mountain hut.
The celebration is spread across four days so friends can join whenever it suits them — for the full experience or just the weekend.
DAY ONE

Tune in at Zermatt’s most beautiful Wine Cellar
We’ll meet at 7pm in Zermatt’s most beautiful wine cellar at Hotel Alex — the perfect setting for a warm and simple welcome dinner to start of an unforgettable celebration.

From Zermatt to Fluhalp
A wonderful alpine adventure to Fluhalp awaits!
We’ll meet at 10:00am at the Kapelle in Winkelmatten to begin the birthday hike.
Located at 2,620 meters, Fluhalp offers one of the most iconic panoramas in the Alps. This historic mountain chalet blends rustic charm with a truly special alpine atmosphere — where delicious local cuisine, warm hospitality, and extraordinary Matterhorn views create an unforgettable experience.
From our meeting point (Kapelle in Winkelmatten) at 1,600 meters, we’ll split into two groups so everyone can choose the pace that feels best on the day:
Group 1 — The relaxed route
We’ll follow the AHV Weg toward the Sunnegga Bahn, take the funicular up to Sunnegga, then continue by gondola to Blauherd. From there, a gentle, mostly flat trail leads to Fluhalp, with no steep climbs — perfect if you prefer an easier, scenic approach.
Group 2 — The full ascent
For those who enjoy a challenge, this group will hike the entire way to Blauherd (2,571 m) — a beautiful 3-hour ascent of about 1,000 meters through beautiful forests and meadows..
At Blauherd, both groups reunite and continue together along the final panoramic stretch towards Fluhalp.
We expect to arrive at our mountain hut around 4:00pm, with time to relax, enjoy the views, and share an Apéro.
Around 6:00pm, dinner will be served in the hut (included in the overnight rate). We’ll spend the night in this beautiful high-alpine setting — experiencing the true rhythm of the mountains from sunset to starlight to sunrise.

Note: the maximum capacity for our group at Fluhalp is 35 beds. It is non-refundable after 30 days prior the event.

From Fluhalp to Chez Vrony
Off to Findeln - to one of the most beautiful places in the world!
After a good rest and breakfast, we continue our celebration journey at around 11am. Our destination is the mountain restaurant Chez Vrony, at around 1:30pm where Vrony, Max and their wonderful team, will make sure we spend some unforgettable, happy and culinary moments with local produced foods and wines and with a breathtaking view to the Matterhorn.
At this spot, we are also very excited to welcome more friends to join the party!
You can hike up to Chez Vrony from Zermatt (about 2 hours) or take the Sunnegga Bahn and walk down for about 20 minutes.
There is no further program that day, so we can just relax as long as we want. The evening is free - and you can do what you feel like. Enjoy dinner, relax at the spa, or wander through Zermatt’s charming streets.

Zermatt Marathon/Halbmarathon
For those who like a bit of adventure, the Zermatt Marathon will be taking place that weekend, starting on July 4th in the morning — a legendary alpine race with unbelievable scenery. You can join the challenge yourself, or simply soak up the atmosphere and cheer from the sidelines.
Chamber Music and Cocktail hour @Zermatterhof
At 6 PM we’ll tune in for the final part of the celebration — a private chamber music evening and cocktail hour at Zermatterhof. The program and artists will be announced in 2026.
007 Party @Bar Vernissage
At 8PM, we will head to the grande finale at the Bar Vernissage, where exclusive event singer Valentina May will be performing for us., and more importantly celebrating with us!
At this vibrant venue, we’ll dance, celebrate, and toast to life surrounded by friends, music, and Zermatt’s sparkling alpine energy. Whether you prefer to enjoy a crafted cocktail at the bar or hit the dance floor until late, the evening promises style, joy, and pure celebration.
